| I don't know too much about audio equipment, will this be hard to setup?
No, in order to make the setup and tear-down process as easy as possible, we include a simple instruction manual with photos to guide you through the setup process. In addition, we have simplified our equipment to make it more suited to the average person. However, if you would rather have us complete the setup, tear-down, delivery, and pick-up, we can do so for an additional $50 charge.
Will I need to know anything special to playback your music?
In order to make playback as easy as possible, all of our songs and playlists are included on an Apple iPod. So, if you understand how to use an iPod, music playback should be very simple.
What if I have my own device (iPod, laptop, etc.), will I be able to use it on the rental system?
Yes, our system has a dock for your own iPod (any model with a bottom dock) as well as a cable for any other device with a standard 1/4" headphone jack.
I'm concerned about picking out music to play, do you include any playlists on the iPod?
Yes, the iPod you will receive comes complete with a number of fantastic DJ created playlists for your use. These playlists span many of the major music genres and even include background and great dance hits!
Will I also receive a microphone to use?
Yes, our systems include a high-quality wired microphone for your convenience.
What are the rental terms?
Our DIY systems include a full 24 hour rental period, convenient customer pick-up in the central Des Moines area (or optional delivery), and much more. For our complete terms, visit the Rental Terms and Conditions section of our website.
What will be the quality of the equipment I receive?
The audio equipment you will receive is professional DJ equipment which is comparable (or even superior) to most mobile DJ systems. You will receive professional EV 15" speakers, a high-end QSC amplifier, and other high-quality audio components.
I don't feel comfortable setting up the equipment, can you do it for me?
Yes, for an additional $50 we will deliver, setup, tear-down, and pickup the equipment at your location within the Des Moines, IA area (see our Terms & Conditions for more details)
Do you offer any lighting?
No, we only offer audio packages in an effort to make our setup less complex and more compact for loading purposes.
